As an Associate Software Engineer for CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), you will work on the team that plays a pivotal role in improving, and building net-new, features that convince our visitors that ezCater is the preeminent tool and partner for ordering food at work. Our development stack is primarily Next.js with the backing of a Ruby on Rails monolith (via GraphQL).
What You'll DoJoin a team that is focused on delighting our catering partners, executing the organization's mission, and propelling our business forward. Build products utilizing Next.js / React (utilizing TypeScript), Ruby on Rails, and GraphQL.Participate in code reviews to highlight and suggest improvements.Participate in team ceremonies such as scrum, retrospectives and refinement sessions.Work with our team of engineers to develop predominantly front-end focused features.Assist in delivering experiments (A/B tests) to production.Work with product, and design to help flesh out requirements for features slated for development.Have fun building meaningful software with other kind and smart people.
What You HaveExperience with most aspects of front-end development - markup (html), style (css/sass), javascript.Bonus points if you have experience with any or all of the following: React, Typescript, Ruby on Rails, or TailwindCSS.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a drive to produce quality documentation.A strong appetite for learning, asking questions, and collaboration.A strong desire to consistently improve in the craft of coding - always learning, always improving, and always asking questions.A friendly, flexible, curious, and pragmatic disposition.Some professional development experience - internship, co-op, apprenticeship.
The national cash compensation range for this role is $92,000 - $114,000. Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
