Job Summary:The Software Development Team is at the core of the amazing products we provide to our clients. The Dev Teams create the applications and infrastructure that make up our industry-leading products, as well as build the tools that other teams use every day to provide our amazing customer service.

Job Responsibilities:Lead the development of new products as a key member of one of our agile Scrum teams.Maintain existing products and support internal users.Communicate and work closely with partners utilizing our platforms.Work closely with in-house departments to complete tasks.Troubleshoot and problem solve application-related issues.Provide guidance, mentoring, and code reviews to more junior Software Developers.Assist Team Lead with software designs to meet Product Owners’ needs.Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.Actively seek ways to improve the team’s designs, tools, and processes.Take ownership of technical architecture and design, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to organization standards.Provide technical guidance within the organization to improve development practices and adopt new technologies and tools.Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, standards, and guidelines for software development across the organization.Demonstrates the ability to independently analyze and resolve complex technical and business challenges from end to end, utilizing critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

Job Qualifications:Deep understanding of JavaScript.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks, specifically React and Next.js.Required experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, and cloud services such as AWS or GCP.Java knowledge is a plus, but not essential.Strong foundation in computer science principles, system architecture, and data modeling.NMG cannot sponsor visa applications at this time.

Work Environment:Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds. General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
