Description: The Senior LAMP Developer will analyze, modify, and develop solutions for the Company’s custom PHP-based ecommerce platform to create a highly engaging consumer experience using his or her extensive experience creating and modifying Linux, Apache, and MySQL databases. The holder of this role will be the subject matter expert on database and Linux server performance for this enterprise-level ecommerce business.Onsite positionHere's what you'll be doing as a Senior LAMP/Full Stack Developer:Effectively and efficiently lead the technical planning and requirements gathering phases of development, including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, and develop architecture.Effectively monitor, identify, and correct server issues, opportunities, and/or vulnerabilities (Linux).Proactively monitor and identify and correct database issues, opportunities, and/or vulnerabilities (MySQL).Optimize Apache and MySQL for speed, efficiency, and scalability.Conduct routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.Forecast demand for data center, network, database, and storage capacity based on operating trends, organic growth, and project needs; proactively propose service improvement plans as necessary.Effectively communicate and collaborate with leadership, internal and external customers, and teammates to understand project roadmaps, capabilities, and organizational needs.Take ownership of project needs, tasks, and communications to ensure timely and efficient completion of assignments.Requirements:Expert knowledge, experience, and ability administering Linux servers for ecommerce applications.Expert knowledge, experience, and ability implementing and managing load balancing algorithms.Expert knowledge, experience, and ability maintaining PCI compliant security for ecommerce.Expert knowledge, experience, and ability tuning Apache for optimal performance.Expert knowledge, experience, and ability maintaining and optimizing MySQL databases.Intermediate knowledge and ability developing PHP according to best practices.Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, and collaborates well with others.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high level decision makers.Is a self-starter with strong self-management skills.Can effectively organize and manage multiple priorities.Demonstrated ability to consistently meet project deadlines.Bachelor’s degree from a US Regionally or Nationally accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar degree of study highly preferred.At least 5 years of verifiable experience as a Junior LAMP or Full Stack developer, or Linux Administrator, or Database Administrator for large-scale ecommerce sites.Experience:Software development: 5 years (Required)JavaScript: 5 years (Required)LAMP Stack: 5 years (Required)Google Cloud Platform: 3 years (Required)PHP: 5 years (Required)Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
