Responsibilities:

Owns the development, implementation, assessment, and support of one or more components of an environment, application, or platform.Collaborate with the engineering team to plan, estimate, design, develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications (Argo Teller 21 application, and interfaces with various peripherals ECR, Check scanners, printers etc)Independently develops clean, maintainable, testable code for work assigned; performs peer code reviews.Participates in the overall health, performance, and availability and actively works resolution of system and client experience impacts for one or more environments, applications, or platformsPackage and support deployment of releasesEmbraces mentorship and training from senior engineersProvides continuous improvement ideas to reduce expenses and/or improve efficiencyApplies recommended information security standards when developing code and seeks to validateAssesses the technical viability of new and emerging products and technologiesContributes to technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts for developing codeIdentifies potential standards and best practices

Skill/ Experience/Education:Minimum of 5 years of working experience in software development and ability to learn ArgoPreferred minimum 5 years of Argo experience ideally in Teller platformExperience with traditional client/server architecture (ideally Argo/Bankpro experience); Argo web/ API experience is a plusExperience in developing interfaces for Argo Teller platform with CAD devices, Check imaging software, Electronic Cash recycler machines is idealExperience working with Alogent Front Counter is a plusStrong working knowledge of DB2, Microsoft SQL Server and other relational databasesExperience working with SOAP and RESTFUL web servicesExperience working with shell scripts or Visual BasicExperience working with Web methods, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Azure Dev/Ops, XML, C# and .Net is a plusMust be open to supporting production issue analysis and resolution and on call rotationStrong knowledge and experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)Experience in Banking / Financial Industry is a plusAbility to trouble shoot software and problem solving skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent communication skillsSelf-starter and drivenBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
