Inclusively is partnering with one of the top airlines in the world to hire a Senior Software Development Engineer. A SDE focuses on developing and implementing modernized specialized business applications, deploying to development, test, staging, and production.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Designing, prototyping and demonstrating new features and components of front-end and back-end to users to ensure compliance with requirementsAssisting in the design, implementation and optimization of related approaches, tools and workflowsCollaborate with the technical teams, business teams, and product managers to ensure that the code that is developed meets their visionDesign the solutions to meet functional and technical requirementsAlign to Security/Compliance frameworks and controls requirementsOwn quality posture. Write automated tests, ideally before writing codeWrite codeDevelop delivery pipelines and automated deployment scriptsConfigure services, such as databases and monitoringImplement Service Reliability EngineeringFix problems from the development phase through the production phase, which requires being on call for production supportWhat you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)5+ years’ experience in Java, J2EE, Python development experience is requiredProven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on Java Spring and related technologiesHands-on experience with JPA and Hibernate for database integrationProficiency in OpenShift PaaS deploymentsStrong knowledge of AWS server technologies, including S3, Lambda, VPC, Route53, MSK, Kinesis, Aurora, RDS, and DynamoDBMust have familiarity and hands-on working experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExperience working with GitHub and/or GitLab, SonarQube, JUnit, Spring BootSkilled in writing, designing unit test cases using TDD and BDD methodologiesHands on experience of virtualizing services for test automation using tools such as Wire Mock, Mockito etcHands on experience of working with continuous integration tools such Jenkins and Gitlab CIExperience using relational and object databases and web service development standards and practices, including RESTful APIs, micro-services, and servicesExperience working in an agile development environment using workload management tools like VersionOne/AgilityExpert troubleshooting and deployment experience with strong understanding of transforming business and functional requirements into efficient technical solutionsExperience with system integrations, optimizing performance and data integrityStrong technical and non-technical communication skills.
