Twitter .What You Will ContributeAssist with preparation, filing, prosecution and maintenance of patent/trademark applications and patents/trademarks (U.S. and foreign)Communicate with US and foreign IP counsel to ensure timely preparation of documentsMonitor and maintain prosecution case dockets for attorneys and agentsManage, review, docket and send instructions for maintenance fees and prosecution deadlinesPrepare documents including assignments, declarations, and powers of attorney, and coordinate execution and notarizationMaintain the IP database; docket or monitor docketing of all entries to the databasePrepare patent/trademark status summary reports and patent/trademark scheduleAssist in due diligence projectsWork collaboratively with members of the Legal team and Avidity employeesWhat We SeekBachelors degree, Paralegal Certificate and minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience in an intellectual Property law firm or corporate legal departmentStrong attention to detailExperience with creating and monitoring dockets, managing patent filings and document managementWorking knowledge of Patent Docketing and Annuity Management systems (e.g. CPA, CPI, Anaqua, or equivalent system)Experience with assisting attorneys and agents in patent/trademark prosecution and patent/trademark portfolio managementProficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office Suite, including MSWord, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Excellent communication skills, and strong analytical and organizational skillsAble to work independently and handle several projects at a timeWhat We Will Provide to You:The base salary range for this role is $92,900 - $102,700. The final compensation will be commensurate with such factors as relevant experience, skillset, internal equity and market factors.Avidity offers competitive compensation and benefits which includes the opportunity for annual and spot bonuses, stock options and RSUs, as well as a 401(k) with an employer match.
