Support the Energy & Infrastructure group in financing renewable energy assets and monetizing tax credits.Assist developers, sponsors, and investors in developing wind, solar, and other renewable energy projects.Duties:
Provide legal support for renewable energy transactions, including tax equity financings and M&A.Assist in structuring tax credit transactions related to renewable energy projects.Conduct legal research and analysis on tax issues about renewable energy transactions.Draft and review transactional documents, agreements, and contracts.Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm.Requirements:
2-5 years of transactional tax experience.Experience in the tax aspects of renewable energy transactions, preferably in a large law firm setting.Strong interest in renewable energy and energy transition.Highly motivated and responsive individual.Superior oral and written communication skills.Logical reasoning and research skills.Organizational skills and attention to detail.Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Membership to the Texas State Bar.Skills:
Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Ability to analyze complex tax issues and provide solutions.Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Benefits offered:
