Apply via Dice today!Our client, a leading IT Managed Services provider, has exclusively engaged us to identify and recruit a talented Account Manager to join their Cloud Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a solution-oriented, technical account manager to play a crucial role in driving revenue growth from named accounts through relationship building and identifying opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell the customers on additional cloud services that will truly add value. This is consultative sales at its finest - uncovering customers challenges and providing technical solutions.Since its inception, this company has grown to be the preferred strategic hosting provider for a leading ERP system. Now, with close to 1000 customers and growing, they are continuing to expand their service offerings beyond the ERP hosting to offer their customers a more holistic, scalable, and secure cloud solution for their entire application stack. This company has experienced double-digit growth year over year since 2017. As they embark on this next phase of growth, there is a big push towards expanding their footprint within existing customers and named accounts and this Account Manager will execute on that playbook.This position is based fully remote, ideally in the Eastern US time zone. Some travel up to 20% can be expected.The Role You’ll Play
As the Account Manager, you will own the client relationship and identify new opportunities for the company’s products and services to better help their client’s businesses. You will be responsible for retention and contract renewals, but the main focus is revenue expansion.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, advocating for their needs and ensuring a positive digital employee experience.Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.Provide exceptional support for immediate client needs, order and quote administration, and facilitate client fulfillment by collaborating with the Engineering team.Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their satisfaction, review products/services, and identify growth opportunities.Participate in planning and executing marketing activities, such as webinars, seminars, and other client events.Drive the sales cycle for product and service opportunities within the existing client base.Consistently meet or exceed inside sales quotas by maintaining a robust pipeline.Provide regular reports on client health status and revenue forecasts.Maintain accurate client documentation and CRM information.Background Profile:
Naturally curious, extroverted individual with a high EQ and a background in solution-sales / consultative selling. A self-starter who is highly self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, scrappy, start-up-like environment, while still adhering to established playbooks and best practices.Minimum of 2 years of experience within a Managed Services organization.At least 3 years of experience in a Technical Account Management or technical Inside Sales role.Experience closing recurring service sales (MRR).Experience selling into the SMB market.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas.Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through building strong relationships.Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills.Strong leadership skills in conducting client meetings and presentations.Solid business acumen and understanding of how technology can enable business strategy and goals.Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and associated cloud services is highly desirable.Account Manager - Cloud Services
