Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesThis Data Analyst position is within the Network Data & Analytics (ND&A) team in the Network Development organization. ND&A is a broader Wireless Data Analytics and Science team intended to drive us toward the best in Network Quality. This organization is the intelligence layer sitting amidst the organizations/teams that own lower-level data and data consumers that take action based on data. Positioned uniquely, this organization interprets the end-to-end data across Network, Finance, and other tertiary sources like Legal to draw an innovative correlation to drive business decision-making. The data insights provided by this organization are pivotal for ensuring resources, including finances are optimized in our network build, operationalization, management, and enhancement. Data scientists, engineers, analysts, and other members of this organization are focused on driving the best Wireless experience for Subscribers and Enterprises.
Key Responsibilities:Leverage SQL development skills to perform full lifecycle data mining activities, including requirements analysis, data quality assessment, data profiling, design and development of analytic data sets, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from relational databases and flat-file sources.Build, test, and evaluate predictive models for campaign response, customer value, churn, product take rates, and more.Develop reporting, test plans, and campaign management structures for key marketing programs.Partner with strategy and product owners to identify trends and opportunities. Support ad hoc analytical projects including customer-level analysis.Segmentation analysis, reporting, product affinity, and customer profiling analysis; Work with unstructured data sets and cleanse that data to make business recommendations using various tools like AWS, Teradata, and SQL server.
Skills, Experience And RequirementsAs a successful Data Analyst II, you will have:Undergraduate degree in statistics, math, computer science, engineering or related fields.2+ years of experience with SQL and database skills in Teradata, AWS, and/or SQL Server databases.Proficiency in R, Python, SAS or other complex analytical tool, and Tableau or other data mining/visualization software.Experience in analyzing data and providing recommendations.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to perform planning and execution of initiatives.
Desired Experience:MBA or Master's degree in statistics, math, Engineering, or related fields of study.Experience in predictive modeling (logistic regression, neural nets, decision trees, etc.), machine learning, and proficiency in designing, implementing, and evaluating test designs including recommending test sizes, structure, and timing.Experience with technical and non-technical presentations of analytic results.
Salary RangesCompensation: $72,400.00/Year - $95,000.00/Year.
