Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Software Engineer
position.Description:Position is contingent upon rewardResponsible for tactical implementation of ASE strategy on Special Electronic Mission Aircraft (SEMA) product platforms during software design, integration, test, and operational phasesSupport Intelligence Electronics Warfare & Sensors (IEW&S) / ASE during pre-design phases and assist in the development of the SEMA / ASE strategyIdentify and coordinate in-service software updates for ASE systemsReview of SEMA programs and validate them against ASE requirements, with emphasis on software requirementsSupport and coordinate issue resolutions based upon results from on-site testing (development testing, functional testing, performance testing, or regression testing) of ASE systems, with emphasis on software, to include laboratory facilities, contractor integration facilities, range test sites, and bed-down base locations (including potential OCONUS locations if required)Identify and evaluate existing and emerging technologies to support evolving IEW&S / ASE threatsMinimum Qualifications:BS in Engineering is required, Software Engineering (SW) / Computer Science (CS) preferred10 to 30 years of overall relevant experience with aircraft survivability equipment (ASE) softwareExperience with IEW&S / ASE to include software design and testingMust be a US CitizenAble to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
