Research & Development Engineer – Robotics Software Architecture.Our R&D Paint Application Development team is excited to invite you to join us as our new R&D Engineer! We believe your expertise will be instrumental in propelling us into the future of robotic programming. You will play a crucial role in the development of new, customizable software and the overall software architecture. Our goal is to meet the growing demand for more robust solutions in the field of Paint Robotics.Primary responsibilities will include:Design, code, test, document, and maintain paint application software running on paint robot models which are manufactured at FANUC America Corporation in Rochester Hills, MIAnalyze, debug, and provide timely resolutions to customer-reported difficultiesDevelop test plans, conduct testing of paint application software, and evaluate process and robot application performanceConsult and support paint segments, customers, integrators, and FANUC America personnel worldwide, specifically in the area of paint application softwareActive participation in long-term technical developments related to FANUC Robotics software productsIdeal candidate will have the following experience and education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or other related field or equivalent experienceScientific software development using high-level languages such as C and C++Robotics application knowledge in the process of paint application and equipmentExperience in robotics programming, specifically TPP/Karel, is preferredOff-line programming knowledge for software developmentHigh School Diploma or GED RequiredWe offer market competitive pay and benefits programs, as well as opportunities for advancement, knowledge and skill development, and recognition of individual achievements.
