The Opportunity:Are you looking for an opportunity to share your experience in implementing security systems to safeguard our nation? As a systems security and network security engineer, you can identify the security monitoring architectures needed to track the adversary and recommend the best solution and security strategy. We need your experience to lead the development and implementation of security solutions that will quickly identify actions taken by an adversary that endangers our national security.On our team,

you'll

support

a team as they troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of

data extraction, transformation, and load processes . You'll manage the research of technology and market trends to further develop security solutions. Using your expertise in

Splunk and Cribl,

you'll assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls.In this role, you'll directly impact national security and criminal cases

by

developing review platforms that empower federal law enforcement agents to take decisive action . for the better.What You'll Work On:Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.

Implement infrastructure and cyber security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.

Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas; leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

Experience with deploying, maintaining, or integrating using cybersecurity tools and applications, including Splunk, Cribl, and Elastic

Ability to integrate cybersecurity engineering principles into infrastructure planning, design, and deployment

Ability to meet schedule, performance, and quality within the systems development life cycle (SDLC)

Ability to support control consistency, integrity monitoring, and health checks of data ETL pipelines and review platforms

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:Experience with SIEM tools, endpoint security, or digital forensics

Experience with system engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering science, or engineering management

Knowledge of security architecture design and integration

Master's degree

Splunk Administrator Certification

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
