Corvid Technologies is seeking qualified software test engineer candidates to join the Modeling and Simulations Contract Framework and Tools (MASC-F) program. The MASC-F program will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in performing Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Modeling & Simulation (M&S) and its intended uses. This includes the following categories: Concept Evaluation, Developmental Engineering, Testing and Verification, Assessment, Training, and Operational Support.
MASC-F personnel will support in the following areas:
Transition the Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) development and sustainment from the current contract to the MASC-F contractModify, enhance, develop, and sustainment of the MDA Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) to meet MDA's evolving M&S requirementsMaintain and evolve the OSF architecture and external interfacesDevelop, modify and enhance other BMDS tools as requiredIn this role, your responsibilities include:
Planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systemsEstablishing functional and technical specifications and standards, solving hardware/software interface problems, defining input/output parameters, and ensuring integration of the entire system or subsystemReviewing, evaluating and deriving requirements for testability, developing and directing preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystemsCoordinating subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizationsPerforming analysis of test results and preparing comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performanceWriting discrepancy reports and performing integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systemsThis is a full-time onsite position at Redstone Gateway.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experienceExperience working with at least 3 of the following: JavaScript, Go, Java, SQL, XML, HTML, C++, PythonExperience developing and testing software in an Agile environmentExperience with GitLab/Git and JIRA for software configuration managementExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux OSWilling to work full-time onsiteWorks well in a fast-paced collaborative team environmentActive Secret security clearanceDesired Skills:
Familiar with Scaled Agile FrameworkFamiliarity with MDA Sensors and missile defense systemsBackground:
