Job Description:

PhD in

fisheries science

or

marine biology

Experience in

population genetics

and

genomics

Take a primary role in

grant writing

and assist in fund-raising efforts

Molecular

experience required

Generating and analyzing

genomic

and

transcriptomic

sequencing data for fisheries or aquaculture applications

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:

PhD

with experience in

fisheries science

,

genetics

,

genomics

, or

marine biology

Previous computational software experience in

Linux, Perl, or Python

or similar software experience required

Preferred

grant writing

experience

2 – 3 years

practical field experience

required

Background in developing

computational models

and

field work
