General Surgeon

Seeking a 1.0 FTE full time, board-eligible/board-certified General Surgeon to join a dynamic group at Providence St. Patrick Hospital?s growing Surgical Services program. This established, acute-care surgery service is one of the busiest in the state while the service continues to grow as the only Level II trauma center in western Montana. You will practice general and elective surgeries in a robust program all while enjoying a healthy work-life balance in the scenic beauty of Missoula.Work within a collegial group of dedicated surgeons and teamIdeal candidate would have the interest and expertise to take 2-3 days of trauma/emergent general surgery call per monthCompletion of an accredited general surgery residency - Certified or eligible to be certified by the American Board of Surgery or equivalentCompetitive compensation; robust benefit package including sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursementAt least 5 years of experience as a General Surgeon requiredDevelop a busy and robust elective practice focusing on minimally invasive surgery and abdominal wall reconstructionWhere You?ll WorkProvidence Medical Group - Western Montana includes 2000 employees statewide and over 40 primary and specialty care clinics in Missoula, Polson and several smaller communities.
