Job Requirements
Qualifications and experience within an engineering field within the Container/Cargo industry (this could include Naval Architecture, Mechanical Design, Technical Management, Seagoing Engineering, Marine Engineering).
Excellent soft skills - strong communication and influencing abilities, people management, and leadership.
Singapore citizen or PR status.
Desirable experience in working with decarbonisation, automation, or robotics.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the management and coordination of vessel operations, ensuring smooth sailing and on-time deliveries of ship containers and general cargo.
Closely monitor vessel performance and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize vessel utilization and maintain high levels of operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and industry best practices.
Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative strategies to enhance decarbonisation, automation, and robotics initiatives.
