The Director, Surgical Services (RN) will manage the strategic direction of the Surgical Services Department (Operating Rooms, Same Day Surgery, Endoscopy, Pre-Admission, PACU, and Central Sterile)
Will manage a team of 60+ FTE's and report directly to a dynamic and collaborative Chief Nursing Officer
Well supported by a team of three (3) Nurse Managers

Qualifications & Requirements for Director, Surgical Services (RN)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required / Master's degree preferred
RN Active License
CNOR preferred
Minimum five (5) years of progressive surgical services/operating room leadership experience at Manager level or above in an inpatient surgical services/operating room setting
Minimum five (5) years of Operating Room nursing experience is required
Transformational and inspirational leadership style
Should be able to identify growth opportunities, recruitment and retention strategies, build collaborative relationships with surgeons, and ensure the highest level of patient safety and quality
