A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Corporate Attorney to engage in sophisticated and challenging corporate work for clients across the nation. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience with
public company securities law , including advising clients on the
Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 . This position will focus on
SEC reporting obligations , with additional experience in corporate governance issues, M&A, and/or venture capital transactions being highly desirable.Our firm prides itself on blending professional excellence with a vibrant, enjoyable workplace culture. We offer a welcoming, collegial environment with competitive compensation and excellent benefits.Job Requirements:Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law schoolActive bar license for the state in which candidate will work out of3+ years' professional corporate law practice with experience as specified aboveStrong technological skills, including proficiency with practice management systems and portalsSuperior research skills, including the use of online services and databasesProject management skills, including the ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentialityPhysical Requirements:Sitting position static for up to one-half hour at a timeLifting and carrying up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to one hour per dayBending and stooping occasionally, up to one-half hour per dayWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our workplace.
