Launched in 2007, the District's SRO serves as a mentor, role model, and valuable resource within the school community. The program also provides a visible law enforcement presence, helping to ensure the safety of all members of our school community. Moreover, based on an inter-municipal agreement, the District’s SRO is authorized to travel outside his jurisdiction to provide standard services at any of our school locations.The District's SRO plays a multifaceted role within our schools:
