Job Description

Our lab is in the Department of Molecular Microbiology at Washington University School of Medicine (WUSTL). We are interested in studying the replication of enteric viruses (in particular rotaviruses) and how they interact with the host innate immune system in the small intestine.

For this particular position, we are looking to hire a successful candidate who has a strong background in Virology or related fields. In addition, candidates should be highly motivated, have strong communication skills, and be able to collaborate and work independently. Prior experience in working with virus reverse genetics systems is preferred. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn to work with a suckling mouse model for rotavirus infection and human intestinal organoids.
