The Forensic Services Program at Children’s Charter Trauma Clinic, a division of The Key Program, Inc., is seeking to hire a part-time (15-20 hrs. per week) fee-for-service evaluator. Founded in 1985, the Forensic Services Team has a long-standing reputation as the leading provider of Child Trauma and Parental Capacity Evaluations for the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families. The team primarily performs independent evaluations of parents and children involved with Child Protective Services (DCF) and/or the court system, concerning issues such as trauma, abuse, neglect, attachment, and parental capacity. Forensic Services Program clinicians work together as a skilled and supportive multi-disciplinary team. All Forensic evaluators participate in a weekly clinical seminar to discuss and further learn and develop their expertise and training related to this challenging work. Weekly individual supervision is also provided.Hourly wage: $52.00/hr.Job Requirements/DescriptionEvaluators carry at least two evaluation cases at a time with the goal of completing a minimum of twelve evaluations over a 12-month period. Evaluation staff can either specialize in Child Trauma Evaluations or Parental Capacity Evaluations or be comfortable providing both services. Training is provided relative to our evaluation protocol which includes individual interviews with the client, collateral contact, and record review. In-person participation at weekly team meetings is required and client appointments typically take place at the clinic. Hours are flexible and other than attendance at team meetings and client interviews, the work can be done remotely. Travel is required for visit observations related to Parental Capacity Evaluations. Reimbursement is given for mileage and compensation is paid for direct work with clients (including psychological testing), record review, collateral contact, report preparation, and Court testimony or consultation related to the report when needed.Our ideal candidate would be a Psychologist with experience teaching and supervising intellectual and personality testing batteries, who could train and supervise 4 th
