The approximately 500-acre motorsports complex boasts a diverse schedule of racing, earning it the title of "World Center of Racing." NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join as the Director of Commercial Ventures based in Daytona Beach, Florida.The Director of Commercial Ventures is part of the NASCAR Southeast Region and is responsible for maximizing existing events and relationships with stakeholders, evaluating premium Clubs/inventory for events at Daytona International Speedway, Homestead-Miami Speedway, and Talladega Superspeedway. This role requires strategic and creative thinking, balancing multiple responsibilities, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.Duties include:Primary lead for all Motorcycle Events at DIS including AMA, Feld SX, Daytona 200, MotoAmerica, American Flattrack, Ricky Carmichael, MX Sports, Bike Week, Fall Cycle SceneMain point of contact/account lead with vendors, partners, sanctioning bodies.Internal systems management for above accounts (e.g., Workday, EBMS, Accounting/Finance)Lead for new vendor generationAttend bike shows/rallies to identify best practices and new opportunitiesSupport SER Marketing/Comms/PR/Content/Grass-Roots teams in developing strategies & tacticsPrimary lead for select Special Events at SER (e.g., NASCAR Racing Experience, Go-Karts, Magic of Lights, Welcome to Rockville, Jeep Beach, Formula E)Primary Lead/Account Manager for Select IMSA/ROLEX 24 PartnershipsGrowth and development of Track Rental Days/Single Make Manufacturer Racing SeriesContinually evaluate premium hospitality spaces and camping experiences to meet customer needsLead with Design & Development on future evolutions of SER assets (e.g., Tri-, Oval Club, Rolex Lounge, Harley J’s, Bill Bills, Pit Box, Ally Champions Club, Speedway Terrace, Club 212)Required skills/experience:College degree, preferably in a related business field (e.g., Marketing, Sports Management)Minimum five to seven years marketing experience preferred; sports marketing or event management experience a plusSelf-starter who takes initiative and can manage projects from start to finishAbility to work through on-site event logistics and think operationallyAbility to coordinate and deliver multiple projects within strict deadlinesMust be able to work extended hours and event weekendsValid driver’s licenseApply Now at
