Industrial Base Technical Analyst (Digital Manufacturing)

As a purpose-driven organization, success is measured by the impact of service.SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:ANSER is seeking Senior Technical Analysts to support the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (IBP). The IBAS program ensures the Department of Defense is prepared to address industrial base issues and support the National Security Innovation Base. The analyst will research and analyze strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities within the global defense industrial base; recommend relevant prototyping efforts; craft acquisition documents; evaluate proposed efforts; monitor program execution; conduct outreach efforts; and perform site visits and strategic communications operations. Understanding of all DoD's planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) phases is essential. This position is based at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA, and/or remotely.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Must have a minimum of a SECRET clearance10+ years of relevant experienceUnderstanding of/experience in technical areas including digital manufacturing, automation, Industry 4.0, metals manufacturing, operational equipment effectiveness, and in situ metrology6+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, science, or technology analysis at a U.S. military Major Command Staff level or higher, or in a large industrial corporationDemonstrated knowledge of the DoD acquisition process and PPBEUnderstanding of federal acquisition managementIntellectual flexibility, stability, and strong oral and written communications skillsAbility to work well in a team setting and mentor junior/mid-level engineers and technical analystsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrated knowledge of systems engineering concepts and methodsProject Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
