Radiology Technologist

Description:
Performs a variety of standard and specialty diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy; responsibly administering ionizing radiation using fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography (including the use of mobile c-arm and x-ray equipment). The responsibilities of Radiology Technologist
include
(but are not limited to):
Assessing, evaluating, and testing patients
Preparing and positioning patients for imaging
Attending to patient needs during imaging
procedures
Applying and
maintaining
up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices
Independently performing or
assisting
a licensed practitioner in performing procedures
Qualifications:
Graduate
from
an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist’s certification
BLS Certification
Pediatric experience and bilingual skills preferred
