Full Time - Day ShiftMaineHealth Cardiology is currently seeking an Electrophysiologist to join their practice in the greater Portland, Maine area. The preferred candidate must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease with advanced training in Electrophysiology. MMC also specializes advanced cardiac rhythm device procedures including physiologic pacing and laser lead extraction.Our eight-physician EP team has grown case volumes dramatically over the last 5 years to serve the growing demand in the region.The MaineHealth EP team performs the highest volume of EP procedures in Northern New England.Our multidisciplinary teams include Advanced Heart Failure, Advanced Cardiac Imaging, Coronary and Structural Intervention, Cardiovascular Critical Care, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Pediatric and Adult Congenital Heart Disease.Long recognized as a leader in cardiac care, Maine Medical Center is on the forefront of today’s most advanced treatments and procedures. Maine Medical Center’s Cardiovascular Service Line has been recognized as one of the top 100 programs in the United States.The hospital has built a new patient care tower dedicated to cardiovascular excellence. It will be home to 19 new procedure rooms, including several hybrid ORs, as well as 64 new private patient rooms.
