About the Role:We are seeking a motivated Junior Build and Release Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our software development and operations group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality software products. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in build automation, continuous integration, and release management while working on exciting projects that make a real-world impact.Responsibilities and Impact:Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and maintain automated build and release pipelines.Configure and manage build tools, version control systems, and artifact repositories.Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment processes to ensure smooth and reliable software releases.Implement and improve CI/CD best practices to enhance development productivity and product quality.Work closely with QA and operations teams to streamline deployment workflows and minimize downtime.Contribute to the design and implementation of solutions for deployment automation.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our build and release practices.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, version control systems (e.g., Git), and build automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation tasks.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scripting and automation to streamline build processes and enhance release management efficiency. The ability to troubleshoot and optimize build and release automation scripts is essential for maintaining a robust and reliable software delivery pipeline.
