Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst - VP

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.Responsibilities:Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvementsResolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standardsProvide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprintUtilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementationDevelop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goalsProvide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutionsServe as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessaryAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparencyRequirements:6-10 years experience in an Apps Development or systems analysis role3+ years of experience in financial services preferred, with experience in front middle and back-office technologies on large scale.7+ years of experience in large scale Apps development as a Full Stack developer with experience using modern technology (e.g. Java, J2EE, Angular JS, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, ReactJS,NodeJs, OpenShift). Back-end: Spring, Spring boot, Java 11+, Hibernate, Design patterns: Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Python and Front-end JavaScript ES6+, HTMLS5, CSS3, working knowledge of Angular 13+ / React, Webpack, NodeJs, etc.Good working knowledge of source code control tools and technologies is a must.Strong fundamentals of OOPS (Object Oriented Programming Standards) Concepts, Data Structures, and AlgorithmsStrong experience developing and architecting integrated solution with non-functional requirements like scalability, high availability, consistency.Ability to write "Clean code" using Core Java, JEE, Collections, MultithreadingStrong experience with API and Web Services development using REST/SOAP protocolsFundamental database concepts and experience with a relational database (MSSQL, Oracle) or NoSQL platforms.Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries. MongoDBMust have a good understanding of Unit testing, test coverage.Ability and willingness to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks.Fundamental understanding of and experience with cloud platforms such as Docker, KubernetesUsage of Swagger/Open API specification to define, document, implement and test APIsA good understanding of Standard, Enterprise Design Patterns, and SOLID principlesShould have good understanding of Containers, docker deployment.Strong knowledge with testing frameworks like JUNIT, Cucumber, Jasmine/MochaExperience in performance tuning of application and analyzing issues using tools like JProfiler /AppDynamics etc.Experience in performing effective code and design reviews.PreferencesExperience in development of scalable high performance systems for complex analytics generation utilizing big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning techniquesExperience in High-Speed Messaging platforms such as KAFKA Solace PubSub.Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery technologies and tools.
