About this Role:

This VP, Product is responsible for the product delivery function at Lyric. As the VP of Product, you will utilize the company and product vision, transform it into a multi-year roadmap, deliver on this roadmap, measure results, and iterate rapidly to drive product improvements via innovation.

Execution

• Bring product vision to life. Ensure that every product launch results in value creation.

• Launch products holistically including documentation, marketing/announcement, clear value proposition, sales materials, training, analytics, instrumentation, pricing, ROI expectation, etc

• Drive product quality

• Use data and analytics to ascertain the behavior of customers and our products in the wild (live). Make sure that when products are launched live, the important KPIs are already defined ahead of time and software is instrumented to measure these KPIs (both technical and product centric). Create day zero of launch reporting.

Own Product Roadmaps

• Maximize the utilization of our top-notch engineering teams via effective roadmaps

• Create both agility and predictability in driving revenue producing roadmap

• Effectively manage dependencies between loosely coupled, but highly aligned teams

• Partner with engineering and security to ensure technology evolves with capabilities

• Partner with strategy to re-align our roadmaps on a regular basis based on market realities, data coming from Lyric products, customer feedback, and other factors

Team Development, Product Culture, and Innovation

• Build a team of top-notch product managers competing with the best product teams at tech giants

• Mentor and grow these team members to operate in an agile, data-driven, and

iterative manner

• Establish the culture of constant data-driven improvement both for people and

products

• Foster a continuous learning product culture within Product & Technology as well as across Lyric

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in technology area

• 10+ Years experience in healthcare with

specific focus on payer claims

systems and products

10+ years of product development experience in agile environments

• 10+ years of product development experience in agile environments, with majority of years delivering multiple digital products from inception to go live.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong technology background working with very technical teams delivering backend solutions

• Demonstrated experience of improving products through multiple evolutions of capabilities

• Understands how to operate in a truly agile manner (capacity planning, sprints, point estimation, backlog grooming, deliver, stories written using INVEST criteria, drove velocity improvements, etc.)

• Increased responsibilities throughout career in product ownership, for example started

leading one product team, building parts of a product to evolving existing products, to building new products to leading multiple teams

• Prioritizes effectively and results in product success

• Understands how to collect, analyze and present data. Some background in analytics preferred. Managed products using KPIs.

• Strong mastery of modern product and technology tooling (JIRA, Trello, Wiki, etc.)

• Collaborates well cross functionally

• Demonstrates a strong sense of curiosity and uses this to drive innovation

• Drives for results

• Clear, effective, and impactful communication as well as the ability to present

information is critical

• Detail oriented

***The US base salary range for this full-time position is:$206,391.21 - $309,586.82
