As an EHS Manager, you will provide leadership to employees in the Horse Cave, KY manufacturing facility and support the plant’s continuous improvement plan by analyzing challenges and facilitating solutions. You will manage the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance efforts in a large facility containing multiple, complex operations with 1200+ employees, spanning multiple buildings with a focus on meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service. We need leaders with a true production mindset who thrive in a highly collaborative environment. Effective communication skills to promote team building and excellent employee relations are a must!Our company has been family-owned and operated for over 60 years and offers:Comprehensive benefit package, including health, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account, 401K, and wellness incentivesOpportunities for advancementTuition reimbursementCore Skills and Qualifications:The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:Bachelor’s degreeFive (5) years of experience managing EHS initiativesFive (5) years of supervisory experience directly supervising a team of EHS professionalsDisplays strong interpersonal skills and is accessible and approachableAbility to utilize business sense and creativity to develop new ideas, approaches, and solutionsPreferred Skills and Qualifications:BS degree in Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or other science fieldExperience in a manufacturing environment directly supervising a team of EHS professionalsExperience managing multi-shift or continuous operationsChemical/plastics processing and packaging industrial experienceLean manufacturing experienceProfessional Engineer (PE), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Safety Professional (ASP/CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification
