Sr Data Scientist- Pricing

Citizens’ Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) organization is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to help drive and lead the building, maintaining, and refining of machine-learning capabilities that will unlock sustainable value creation through intelligent product and relationship pricing.In this role, you will:Serve as the lead analytics partner for deposits & relationship pricing, building critical relationships with partners in product, pricing & profitability, finance, data, and technology to collaboratively bring transformational ML capabilities to marketOwn the strategy and roadmap for pricing modeling and experimentationDesign, develop, deploy, and integrate price elasticity models into pricing and relationship decision enginesSynthesize analytic findings into recommended actions to improve business outcomesCommunicate analytical insights as a clear and approachable story, reducing complexity as appropriate for different audiencesFamiliarity with designing experiments, including randomized controlled trials and discrete choice experimentsMaintain a mindset aligned to Citizens’ commitment to an Agile operating model and to managing ML models as a productA successful incumbent will have:Master’s or PhD degree in statistics, economics, analytics, data science, or related field3-5 years of experience in preparing raw data for analysis and extracting useful information by applying advanced technical and statistical programming techniquesSolid command of the theory and application of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms, including causal inference techniquesProficient in Python and SQLApplied experience with the full model development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment, monitoring, and governanceA strong sense of intellectual curiosity and ability to thrive and deliver value in an entrepreneurial working environmentAbility to work in a high-performance professional environment, with quick turn-around and evolving prioritiesCommitment to intellectual rigor and observance of compliance and data privacy controlsA disciplined approach to making decisions and setting expectationsExperience working with large datasets (greater than 1 million records) and applying techniques to efficiently manage big dataExperience working with technical collaboration and project management tools such as Git and Jira (preferred)Experience working with financial datasets (preferred)
