MaineHealth is seeking a BC/BE OBGYN Physician on a Per Diem basis for our LincolnHealth facility in Damariscotta, ME. Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a very collegial atmosphere at LincolnHealth OBGYN. The successful candidate will join an established practice of four physicians (two OBGYNs and two family physicians) and two certified nurse midwives in a shared call schedule with the expectation of 1:4 weekend call. The practice has a four-day work week, providing clinical care in the outpatient and inpatient settings as a full-scope OBGYN. Plus, the comprehensive resources and advanced technologies of Maine’s largest academic health system — and rewarding Maine lifestyles.Responsibilities and Desired Qualification & Experience:Candidates will have completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and be board certified, with at least two years of experience providing full scope OBGYN care.This position requires providing clinical care in both outpatient and inpatient settings as a full-scope OBGYN provider.Works collaboratively and in a consultative role with advanced practice providers in the inpatient setting.Responsibilities include covering labor and delivery and gynecologic emergencies, care for your own outpatient panel of patients, major gynecologic surgery including minimally-invasive hysterectomy, full scope reproductive health care delivery, and medical student precepting.Additional Information:MaineHealth is a not-for-profit integrated health system whose vision is, “Working together, so our communities are the healthiest in America.” MaineHealth consists of nine local health systems, a comprehensive behavioral health care network, diagnostic services, home health agencies, and 1,700 employed clinicians working together through the MaineHealth Medical Group.
