Northrop Grumman Aeronautics has an opening for a Data Center Engineer/Principal Data Center Engineer to join our team in Rancho Bernardo, CA.This position may be filled at either the Data Center Engineer (T02) or Principal Data Center Engineer (T03) level based on qualifications.Essential Functions:Developing engineering documentation for system configurationExecuting engineering projects on scheduleCollaborating with engineers to generate documented procedures and troubleshootImplementing engineering changes to the system as requiredThe selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations and significantly diverse assignments.Basic Qualifications:Data Center Engineer (T02):Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM field with 2+ years of engineering experience or MS/Ph.D. with relevant experienceActive DoD Top Secret Clearance and CompTIA Security+ certificationDemonstrated experience with modern VMware releasesPrincipal Data Center (T03):Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of engineering experience or MS/Ph.D. with relevant experienceActive DoD Top Secret Clearance and CompTIA Security+ certificationDemonstrated experience with modern VMware releasesPreferred Qualifications:VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certificationHands-on VMware virtualization and/or cloud experienceExperience with vSphere, vCF, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, VDI, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.Operating System Certification, Aria Automation, scripting experience with vRO, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, NetApp Storage, Networking Hardware, etc.Salary Range:

$87,200 - $130,800Salary Range 2:
