OverviewThe Field Sales Consultant self-generates sales leads and presents in-home presentations on our solar products and services for potential customers. Their priority is to make a genuine human connection with the potential customers with the intent to qualify and vet solar as a viable energy solution for their home and families. If you enjoy face-to-face interaction, engaging customers and find the idea of working out in the field exciting, then this is the job for you!Responsibilities/The ImpactDevelop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads, and appointments with potential customersProvide an industry-leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer's system is turned onConduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and evaluate customers’ knowledge and needs, building productive long-lasting relationshipsHandle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultationsAccurately disposition and report on outcomes via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) toolMeet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadershipQualifications/How You Will Be SuccessfulMinimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferredMust be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background checkExcellent communication and teamwork skills needed to partner cross-functionally when addressing customer needsWillingness to spend time traveling within the local market, depending on business needs and sales modelIntermediate comfort level with technology, utilizing an iPad/computer and multiple software applications. (experience with a CRM is a plus)
