Simmonds, Martin & Helmbrecht of Advantia Health is looking for a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our practices in Frederick, Gaithersburg and Rockville, MD. We are seeking a WHNP with solid GYN experience as well as antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum experience that includes patients with varying medical conditions (diabetes, hypertension, etc.)

Job Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patientsDiagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnessesPrescribe all necessary medications and treatmentsDevelops and implements patient management policies and proceduresFacilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilitiesCommunicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications :
Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program requiredCurrent state licensure as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (Maryland preferred)Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (Maryland preferred)Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is requiredDEA and CDS eligible1+ years’ experience working in the women’s health field.
