Job SummaryWe are seeking a Project Accountant to join our team.

Responsibilities & QualificationsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.Analyzes data and trends by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying information.Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations. Assists manager with the monthly close process.Ensures financial data is accurate and complete before entering into the general ledger.Helps review and maintain accounting procedures, recommends opportunities for change.Prepare and/or review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including PR related accruals (bonus, holiday pay, retirement, Intercompany cash).Meets all monthly, quarterly, and annual process and reporting deadlines.Prepares budget versus actual reporting and variance analysis as needed.Proactively communicates potential issues to the Controller/Assistant Controller.Proactively initiates monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities.Assists with the independent annual audits.Answers accounting and finance questions by researching and interpreting data.Participates in special projects, analysis, and ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION And/or JOB EXPERIENCE)

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.8+ years of experience in related field.Big Four experience across a wide variety of industries is desirable.CPA preferred.Industry experience preferred (Engineering/Architecture).Required strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and excellent communication skills.Understanding of GAAP and FAR regulations.Deltek Vision systems experience preferred.Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.Additional InformationTYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $80,080 annually for this position and local market.
