This position will be responsible for site environmental, health, and safety strategy. This position will be responsible for policy management, regulatory compliance, and incident response. The EHS Manager will work with the plant leadership to build a strong safety culture and create an environment conducive to maintaining the employees’ physical well-being.Responsibilities:Primary person responsible for maintaining optimal environmental, health, and safety conditions for the sitesAudit and analyze the site’s environmental activities to be consistent with the industry’s best practices and government complianceImplement new and manage current plant health, safety, and environmental programsWork and build relationships with company employees and train safety program procedures and best practicesDetermine best practices regarding safe operational processes and train staff to implement safety changesWork and build relationships with multiple government compliance agencies and divisionsLead injury and incident inquiries and evaluationsRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field3+ years of safety, health, and environmental engineering and/or leadershipExperience interacting with and training plant labor regarding environmental and safety practicesPrior union experience preferredTotal Compensation:$115,000 - $140,000
