Known for leadership development, we aim to empower individuals to reach their full potential.Role Summary:Reporting to the Senior Manager of Service Products, the SKIDIQ and MyPlant Product Man ager role will provide best in class product development for the Waukesha engines business unit. They will bring best practice product management skills including product requirement creation, prioritization, business case development and value proposition creation for the new engine product line. Expertise including customer segmentation, market sizing, competitive landscape assessment as well as pricing development and go-to-market strategies. They will work closely with the Waukesha Digital partners, engineering, sales and service teams to grow the engine platform in all applicable industry segments.Primary ResponsibilitiesEstablish the vision and strategic plan for the Waukesha SKIDIQ and MyPlant product line.Deliver SKIDIQ and MyPlant platform multi-generational product plan by launching differentiated products that exceed market share objectives.Deliver new product introduction (NPI) requirements used in engineering execution of product programs for the SKIDIQ and MYPLANT product line resulting in market differentiated products launches,Deliver an effective product launch aimed at unleashing engine platform growth potentialDevelop marketing strategies and new product offerings setting the direction for SKIDIQ and MYPLANT platform in target marketsHave a long-term view and execution plan that enables new business development growth and sustainability.Deliver product lifecycle and product line management operating reviews which support/recommend business operational decisions on product line profitability, R&D and capital investment.Provide direct support of sales, service, and end customers utilizing the SKIDIQ and MyPlant product family.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business or related field. Advanced degree in, Management, Marketing, MBA, or a related field is preferred.Minimum 5+ years marketing and product/new business development role.Experience in equipment monitoring, controls, and associated software platforms.Experience expanding into new markets/customer classes and leading initial customer engagement to support building early stages of the sales pipeline.Experience in developing product business case justifying program investment.Experience in developing product differentiated value proposition material supporting sales and channel partner sales force effectiveness in a software as a service business model.Experience in the energy, oil or gas industry is preferredExperience developing competitive analysis and price benchmarking to promote products’ value proposition and inform which product and service areas should be sales’ areas of focus.Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately up to 20% of the timeDesired CharacteristicsDemonstrated marketing expertise including bringing new products to market; with experience in oil and gas and or/energy.Background in Digital monitoring, reciprocating engines and power generation.Ability to work collaboratively across functional groups and large organizationsAbility to attract, mentor and build strong teams that deliver exceptional performanceStrong presentation development and broader communication skills that turn concepts into effective structured messages for non-technical internal and external decision makers.Proven capability to come up the learning curve quickly for new areas of business and changes in the market.
