About the OpportunityAs the Atlassian Tools Administrator for the Product & Technology organization, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Jira cloud instances, and other Atlassian products. You will provide guidance and implementation support during initial cloud JIRA cloud provisioning. You will be the go-to resource for all Jira related questions and tasks. You will be a key partner working with internal PMOs, DevOps and Jira SME’s across the organization to align Jira to our SDLC and best practices.What you'll get to doBe the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for JIRA cloud instances and other Atlassian productsBe the key point of contact for Atlassian supportCreate training material and standard operating procedure documentationProvide formal and informal training to Atlassian product users; both technical and non-technical alikeCreate custom Jira projects, complex workflows and permission schemasBe a change agent to drive transformation of how we manage workAssist reporting teams with JIRA inputsCreate custom Jira projects, complex workflows, filters, automations and permission schemasSkills and Experience we valueBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, CS, MIS, or commensurate work experience in a related field3-5 years’ experience administering Jira / Confluence environments with a mixture of on-premises and cloudExperience with migration of on-premises to cloudSolid understanding of Agile principles and project management methodologiesExperience with implementing and training on JIRA and JIRA Agile best practices, custom dashboards, and custom reportsAbility to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language)Ability to develop advanced scripts and leverage API callsExperience with processes, workflows, and boards that support the complexities of managing differing needs of Product Owners, Developers, and Testers across projects, sprints, and teamsExperience with roadmap process, epic and initiative level planning toolsNice to have: Knowledge of the administration of other software engineering tools (MIRO, GitHub, Nexus, Jenkins etc.)Nice to have: Atlassian certifications
