Create The World's Best Digital Colleague Experience
The Digital Workplace Product Group, within the Technology organization at American Express, brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital workplace. It connects business priorities with product roadmaps and drives product management standards across the Digital Workplace organization. At American Express, Digital Workplace aims to create the World’s Best Colleague Experience, which starts with great product management.
The Senior Product Manager will report into the Director of Device Experience, Product Digital Workplace. We are looking for product managers with experience building and executing product strategy, planning, and championing best practices across globally dispersed product teams. The customers are American Express colleagues, who have multiple personas and journeys in their use of Digital Devices. In this role, you will work with a team of product managers through PI Planning sessions, strategy, and roadmap development. The Senior Product Manager will also partner closely with engineers to prioritize product backlogs and drive transformation across their respective products.
Key Responsibilities
Own product strategy and drive execution of high-impact initiatives across the Windows Devices product domain.Partner with key stakeholders to build shared vision around the roadmap, priorities and new opportunities.Analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market opportunities to define a strategic vision.Review requirements and input from business partners to inform and influence product decisions.Collaborate with key Engineering leaders and other partner teams to execute critical initiatives, define clear goals, and set success criteria.Champion Product Management Standards and Best Practices.Find opportunities to drive a culture of design thinking, continuous innovation, and discovery within the product delivery lifecycle while elevating customer journeys.
Desired Skills
5+ years of product management experience with either external or internal products, ideally Windows and related products.Demonstrated focus on the customer, always starting with the customer and working backwards.Experience influencing and moving an organization to product management methods and standards.Strong partnership and collaboration skills, bringing people together.Ability to lead PI Planning sessions across global product teams.Ability to translate business requirements to product deliverables, thinking in terms of outcomes rather than output.Knowledge of Agile methodologies.Strong verbal & written communication. Ability to convey user stories and the user perspective.Demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve with and for users.
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
