As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing team, driving overall sales and achieving budget targets for your Area Team. The Area Sales Manager is responsible for developing, coaching, and teaching a team of Retail Sales leads. This will include weekly ride days to develop staff. This role is remote-based, but the candidate must live in the Denver, CO area and travel 60% of the time. The Area Sales Manager will support teams in Washington, Oregon, Utah, Nebraska, Kansas, and New Mexico.Retail Role Details

The ideal candidate will reside within 45 miles of the center of this territoryThis is a salaried position with quarterly bonus opportunityYou will be eligible to choose one of our Fleet Program options:Company Car Program: Ford Escape along with insurance and a gas cardAuto Vehicle Reimbursement: allows you to choose what you drive and be reimbursed for business use of your vehicleYou will receive a $65 monthly stipend for cell phone usageA Taste Of What You’ll Be Doing

Drive Results – Coach and develop your team to achieve key metrics. These metrics encompass the POS (Point of Sale) budget, call coverage, and maintaining a “perfect shelf” strategySelling, negotiating, and executing business plans – Collaborate with decision-makers. Utilizing business intelligence data, you’ll craft a compelling selling narrative to drive business growth for both your customers and KellanovaLeverage Data - Use analytics to track KPI’s, achieve goals, and identify areas for improvementCommunication - Present business reviews to senior-level leadership to showcase team performanceWe’re Looking for Someone With

Significant sales experience combined with people leadership experience, ideally in the Consumer Product Goods industryAccount management experience (i.e., headquarters, district, region, or market level)Strong understanding of analytics and ability to use multiple sources to build a selling story (i.e., account data, scan data, POS data etc.)Ability to communicate complex information, both verbally and in writing to diverse audiencesProficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to drive to multiple locationsThis is a driving role that requires the use of a personal vehicle. To meet the requirements of the role, you must have 2 or fewer moving violations within the last 36 months.High school diploma or equivalentWhat’s Next
