The Data & Insight Analyst is responsible for architecting and developing best-in-class and innovative analytics and reporting solutions. This role will have responsibility for establishing and sustaining processes and practices that support Big Data, Analytics, and Reporting solutions and applications in an Open Source environment. The Data & Insight Analyst should have a passion for data, working with business people, and creating solutions and driving innovation with a keen interest in mentoring and elevating other technical resources. Will spend time working independently and as part of a team and will focus on specific deadlines in an Agile development process as defined by the management team. This role will require fully bilingual English/Spanish capabilities.Responsibilities
Engage with customers to identify opportunities to integrate data/insights into decision-makingAnalyze large datasets and deliver actionable insights to customers using a variety of Business Intelligence toolsContribute to data product discovery by developing business case analytics, conducting exploratory analyses, and prototyping ideas / analyticsContribute to data product development by defining user stories, identifying and testing features, developing product documentation, training end users, and implementing feedback loopConduct on-demand quantitative / qualitative analyses to support key internal and client-facing deliverablesConduct exploratory data analysis to support predictive modeling and other data science projectsCultivate and share best practices in structured problem solving and quantitative/qualitative analysisComplete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodationQualifications
Fully bilingual in English/Spanish(both written and verbal)Candidates must be commutable to our Mexico City office.Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as data/analytics, computer science, engineering, economics, mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative field2 years experience in healthcare analytics, consulting, technology/services, product development, or other relevant roleExperience conducting data analysis using Business Intelligence applications such as Tableau, PowerBI, Microstrategy, DOMO, Looker, etc.; professional certification a plusExperience extracting and transforming source data using SQL or similar toolsetHighly proficient using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word); experience with JIRA and/or other product management tools a plusKnowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other advanced analytic techniques a plusAbility to package insights in highly-consumable and flexible formats for a variety of audiencesStrong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, including ability to identify and quantify financial/operational impact of opportunities with limited dataAbility to work well independently and with cross-functional, matrixed teams in an agile environment
