Calling all who dwell in the darkness! Dying for a great job? Join our scream team as a Fright Fest Scare Actor, and enjoy the scariest job this side of the grave. Show us your coldest stare or wicked talent, and we’ll bring you to the dark side as a zombie, ghoul, or thing that dwells in the undrained parts of our water park. You’ll enjoy an endless supply of amazing perks that are to die for!Positions will start training in August, and start working in mid-September.Applicants should be ready to:Prepare to scare the socks off our interviewers!Audition Dates:July 27 and 28: 11-3pm @ the Six Flags New England Human Resources OfficeFor questions regarding Fright Fest Roles, please feel free to reach out to our Shows and Entertainment team at: 413-821-2620What You Will Be Doing:Jump out at guests from the darkest corners and best hiding spots as they walk through our scare zones and haunted attractionsTransform into a frightening creature with full makeovers and costumesRepair and maintain tattered and bloodstained costumesScare the public at special park functionsGreet all victims in the scariest way possibleLeave guests’ screams echoing through the crisp night airOther job duties as assignedHow You Will Do It:Maintain screams and safety at all timesKeep escape routes (and work locations) cleanBe able to work in an environment as fast-paced as our coastersDemonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to the Six Flags mantraBe playful and friendly with an outgoing personalityHave a positive attitude to deliver the most terrifying experience possibleCan’t be afraid of the darkWhat You Will Need:Must be at least 16 years oldMust be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods in varied weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rainMust be able to perform in an enclosed costume, having limited sight linesHeight and weight may be required for proper fit in specific costumesHave a good attitude and participate as a member of the teamAble to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal
