Job Summary:Join our global team as a Data Architecture and play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing cutting-edge data solutions across our diverse organisational landscape. We're seeking an experienced professional proficient in cloud technologies, particularly Azure and GCP, with a passion for continuous learning, meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and expertise in API integration. This role will involve working on multifaceted projects, collaborating with teams worldwide to drive innovative data-driven solutions.

Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure data solutions leveraging Azure and GCP cloud environments across our global organisation.

Collaborate closely with international teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and design comprehensive data architectures.

Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and databases while ensuring high performance, security, and reliability in a global context.

Implement and manage data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration strategies, ensuring seamless connectivity across diverse systems and regions.

Provide expertise in API integration, enabling efficient data exchange and synchronisation between various applications and platforms.

Drive innovation by staying abreast of emerging technologies and assessing their potential application to enhance our global data architecture.

Playing a key role in reviewing the data platform architecture across the group.

Manage and prioritise multiple projects concurrently, ensuring delivery within timelines and meeting organisational objectives.

Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Overall 12+ years of experience in data domain and extensive experience (at-least 6+ years) as a Data Architect, demonstrating a focus on cloud technologies, particularly Azure and GCP, within a global organisational setting.

Profound knowledge of designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with global standards and regulations.

Expertise in data modelling, database design principles, and best practices for data management within a global context.

Strong understanding and practical experience in API integration, facilitating seamless communication between distributed systems.

Exceptional problem-solving skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and a track record of delivering high-quality solutions in complex global environments.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multinational environment, managing and prioritising multiple projects effectively.

Hands on: Python or Scala, SQL, DataBricks, Knowledge on Data Governance tools.

Knowledge of life insurance industry preferred.
