Computational Research Scientist | About You
As a Computational Research Scientist, you are responsible for partnering with business and research teams to identify, scope and execute analytics efforts that address critical business and scientific questions. You will play a pivotal role in delivering value to patients by leveraging your deep understanding of pharmaceutical business and advanced analytics methodologies. Your objective insights and data-driven decisions will facilitate impactful outcomes.
Computational Research Scientist
| Day-to-Day
Collaborate with business and research teams to define and execute analytics projects that answer key questions and drive patient value.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical business, actively engaging with teams to provide objective, analytics-based insights.Work with other analytics team members to review and refine ongoing analytics projects, while also seeking feedback to improve your own work.Stay current with data science methodologies, ensuring proficiency in new and diverse methods, and competently justify the methods selected for use.Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-level analytics capabilities and solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

| Skills & Experience
M.S. or higher in Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related field.Minimum of three years of hands-on experience with optimization or simulation.Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, Matlab, Java, or C++.Deep knowledge of optimization, simulation, and machine learning methods.Experience in consulting and the ability to work with diverse data sources and types.Strong self-management skills and a focus on timely and accurate completion of tasks.Proficiency with algebraic modeling languages like Pyomo, JuMP, GAMS, or AIMS.
