The Digital Products and Services team within PepsiCo's global Strategy and Transformation group is tasked with articulation of the vision, execution and implementation of PEP's next generation global digital products and data infrastructure. The Digital Product Management is not only responsible for creating roadmaps, delivering data and software solutions but will also be accountable for the resultant business improvement and outcomes.One of PepsiCo’s priority focus areas in the digital strategy is Sales Effectives. Sales Effectiveness (SE) exists to improve front line performance of daily tasks, increasing sales through prescriptive recommendations for prospecting, selling, servicing, and merchandising. Within SE, there are several digital products being developed. This position is for one of those products, known as OnePEP. OnePEP will create a common interface for our businesses to streamline sales activities and leverage store data to provide precise upselling opportunities, leveraging a common backend. The OnePEP product will serve as the foundational capability and product for our SE transformation to unlock business value via a unified solution. The Product Manager, OnePEP must possess extraordinary collaboration skills, systems thinking and product depth in order to bridge to our fast-moving business and our internal engineering teams.Responsibilities

Accountabilities:Facilitate meetings with cross-functional business and technical teams to gather product requirements and business use casesDefine, create, and manage the product backlog through weekly backlog sessionsPrioritize and create clear user stories and acceptance criteria day-by-day and manage progress through agile ceremonies by working with leads, developers, and scrum mastersManage QA by accepting the completed user stories to make sure the work fulfills the criteriaUpdate Product Documentation as necessary including technical requirements, roadmaps, feature availability, and metadata managementProduct OwnershipServe as a subject matter expert of our current/planned Guided Selling productsFacilitate meetings with cross-functional business and technical teams to gather product requirements and business use casesPrioritize and create clear user stories and acceptance criteria day-by-day and manage progress through agile ceremonies by working with leads, developers, and scrum mastersDefine, create, and manage the product backlog through weekly backlog sessionsManage QA by accepting the completed user stories to make sure the work fulfills the criteriaProvide feedback at demos related to product delivery, usability, and functionality, and escalate any discrepancies to Product Manager to ensure business goals are metOutline PI Objectives and lead validation efforts with all stakeholders; co-lead PI planningExecute product feature launch/release cycles from a high levelIn partnership with the Scrum Master, identify risks and concerns for product delivery as related to individual teamsSurface blockers and provide recommended solutions based on trade-offs to optimize customer experience, and time-to-marketClearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal stakeholders and remote teamsUpdate Product Documentation as necessary including technical requirements, roadmaps, feature availability, and metadata managementCompensation and Benefits:The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time scheduleLocation, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salaryBonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annuallyPaid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavementIn addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement PlanQualifications

Qualifications:5+ years of product management experience, preferably some of which in a startup contextStrong communicator with excellent people skills to interact with various internal stakeholders, executives and data scientists and engineersExperience managing, developing, and iterating on user-facing machine learning insights (ML/DS models) and data science modelsFamiliarity and comfortable with key methods of evaluating models, measurement framework and ensuring they meet the needs of the user and the businessDeep experience with shipping features in a software product in an agile framework; Outline PI Objectives and lead validation efforts with all stakeholders; co-lead PI planningSkills, Abilities, Knowledge:Product mindsetNexus of communication and planning between business leaders, data scientists and engineers. Ability to lead each of these audiences with confidence and authority, instilling understanding and motivationAbility to drive teams toward a shared vision with velocity and possess an indomitable bias toward action in the face of ambiguity and challengeEqual ability to understand and influence business priorities as well as technical architectureAbility to prioritize competing initiatives and communicate with precisionExecute against time-sensitive requests from executives and cross-functional business partnersWork with talented technical partners from engineering, data science, user design and architecture teams in a fast paced, agile development processExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) and high emotional intelligence.
