As a system level test director, you will be working on Qualcomm's most advanced SoCs system level test development and productization with an amazing talented team of engineers.Job Overview:Overall engineering lead for System level test (SLT) and advanced diagnostic lab (ADT) based in Taiwan. Responsible for Pre Si planning, NPI development, and HVM enablement for mobile, automotive, compute, IOT, and XR/VR projects. Works closely with Chipset Project engineer, Program Manager, Software lead, and other Test leads from various engineering teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables, issues Tracking, Reporting, and resolution.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Works independently with little supervision.Provides supervision to other supervisors/managers who are direct reports.Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels.Role requires negotiation and influence, cross-functional communication.Overall responsible to ensure schedules, KPI, and performance standards for SLT and ADT organization are realistically set and attained.Able to understand and manage complex SOC system testing flow, automation, System level debug of complex issues.Role requires debugging skills for System level testing, Software stability testing, and performance testing related issues.Understanding of Product and Test development of SOCs, SLT tester platform, Handlers, TCU will be a plus.Coordinate and drive debug of failures. Use technical expertise to identify solutions to test failures.Strong understanding of software automation and software build, android architecture, and arm architecture will be a plus.Need to have creativity to establish processes, and new ideas for efficient execution.Participates in the new project planning process, establishing strategic plans and objectives for project timely execution.Work with team to develop automatic reports, dashboards, and charts to share progress growth with key stakeholders.Preferred to have working experience on mobile SOC KPIS for power and performance.Seeks to continuously improve methodologies, tools, planning, and processes in all aspects of lab execution.Capture and document learning and implementation in upcoming projects.Provide regular updates to key stakeholders during project execution.Monitor progress on all activities and make necessary adjustments to keep project schedule on time.Key Skill Sets:Working experience in arm architecture, DDR testing, graphics, high-speed peripherals like USB, PCIE, CSI-DSI testing, software automation, J-tag based debug, ARM Assembly Language, C (Programming Language), Android Boot, Linux Kernel, Cache Memory, Central Processing Units (CPU), JTAG, System on Chip (SoC) system validation.Preferred qualification:Overall, 15 years or more experience in system level testing, Software testing, and software automation for complex SOC’s.5+ years managing large (> 30 people) engineering organization which is responsible for test and validation.5+ years’ experience in managing budgets, resource allocation, project planning, KPI tracking, team growth for a large organization.Education: Doctorate or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication engineering.Minimum Qualifications:Overall, 12 or more years’ experience in system level testing, Software testing, and software automation for complex SOC’s.Overall, 4 or more years’ experience in managing >10 members engineering team.Education: Bachelor’s in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and communication engineering.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.ORMaster's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.ORPhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
