Horizon Services, Inc. (HSI) is a nonprofit established in 1974 offering addiction treatment services. We provide residential treatment, withdrawal management, and sobering programs to support individuals from diverse backgrounds.Responsibilities:- Perform health screenings for potential clients- Monitor vitals, perform medical triage, and assess clients' needs- Maintain medication records and perform appropriate assessments- Document observations and case notes regularly- Create a welcoming environment and perform conflict resolution- Respond to crises and emergencies promptlyTeam Support:- Work collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary team- Participate in daily shift changes and maintain a clean environment- Provide support to other team members as neededQuality Assurance Support:- Monitor and maintain client records in EHR- Ensure all necessary documentation is scanned and uploaded dailySUCCESS COMPETENCIES FOR POSITION:Functional/Technical Skills & Knowledge:- Client Focus, Problem Solving, Being Resilient, Interpersonal CommunicationQUALIFICATIONS:- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse- Knowledge of Substance Use Disorders, Mental Health, and Crisis Intervention- 1-year experience in a similar setting with leadership responsibilities- CPR/First Aid certified- Valid California driver’s license with a good driving recordCompensation and Benefits:- Comprehensive benefits package for full-time and part-time employees- Salary: $32-$34.50 per hourHorizon Services, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
