The SAP Technical Integration Senior Analyst supports and maintains integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications, including EDI. As a technical expert, the role oversees SAP integration technologies and governance. Responsibilities include managing daily techno-functional issues, translating business requirements into technical needs, designing and developing interfaces using PI/PO and CPI, and maintaining architecture diagrams. The Senior Analyst also leads integration implementations, collaborates with AMS team partners on enhancements, and acts as a solution architect for SAP projects.
Responsibilities
Support existing technical integration between SAP and non-SAP applications, including EDI.
Serve as a technical for SAP integration technologies and oversea their governance.
Maintain architecture diagrams for all inbound/outbound interfaces to/from S/4, ensuring traceability to Level 2 business processes using tools such as Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
Manage and resolve daily techno-functional issues and risks, escalating to Project Management when necessary.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration requirements and architecture.
Lead integration implementation for support and AMS enhancements, collaborating with the AMS team partners.
Act as an integration solution architect for concurrent SAP projects, managing cross-technical team coordination.
Design and develop interfaces between SAP S/4 and satellite systems, with a focus on PI/PO and CPI.
Understand and handle EDI transactions effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, computer science, engineering, supply chain, business, or relevant discipline.
5 years or more of experience within the SAP integration domain.
3 years or more experience in SAP PO / PI / CPI.
3 years or more of SAP Cloud Integration experience and 1 or more years of API Management experience.
Expertise in defining integration standards and framework.
Hands-on experience of SAP Cloud Platform - API management, including API lifecycle and monetization.
Strong experience integrating SAP on-premise and Cloud products with SSO, Security enablement.
Proficiency with SAP PI/PO 7.4 and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) tools, and various mapping styles.
Experience delivering complex application integration solutions using multiple protocols and adapters (e.g.B2B, EDI, HTTP, FTP, SOAP, REST).
Development of EDI Integrations (X12, EDIFACT and TRADECOM) using SAP CPI/Integration Advisor and SAP TPM.
Basic understanding of IDOCs, Proxies, ODATA, CDS Views
Knowledge of API security Policies (OAUTH 2.0, SAML).
Experience migrating from SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI.
Experience in a fast-paced, global outsourced model with onshore and offshore resources.
Strong understanding of SAP Build and Run methodologies.
Proficient in Software Development Lifecycle.
Positive, solutions focused attitude and decision-making skills.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
