Technical Accounting Manager

This is a great time to join TAG's team at a high-growth stage and build several key accounting processes. TAG is looking for a Technical Accounting Manager who has experience with acquisitions, NWC, and OBS review. A successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in public accounting and be able to lead the company through its annual audit process. The Technical Accounting Manager will report to the Corporate Controller and will serve as an integral part of the accounting team of The Arcticom Group.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Be the annual audit lead.
  • Prepare annual consolidated GAAP financial reports including a balance sheet, a statement of income, a statement of equity, a statement of cash flows, including notes to the financial statements.
  • Establish and manage internal audit process.
  • Research US GAAP guidance and provide technical accounting guidance.
  • Create and manage technical accounting memos and white papers.
  • Lead implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Work cross-functionally with business functions to ensure timely identification of accounting and financial matters.

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • CPA license required.
  • 5-7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience
  • Public Accounting / audit experience required.
  • Experience with Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
