JOB SUMMARY:

Seacoast Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Cloud Engineering Manager to lead our cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our Microsoft 365 and Azure hosting environment. This role requires a strong background in cloud technologies, strategic planning, and team leadership to ensure the efficient and secure operation of our cloud-based systems.

In this role, you will work closely with key business stakeholders to identify Microsoft 365 and cloud technology solutions that enable the business strategy focus on growing revenue, optimizing costs, and mitigating risks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for Microsoft 365 platform aligning with business goals.
  • Lead the architectural design of Azure cloud infrastructure services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security best practices are incorporated.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, architect solutions, and ensure successful delivery of cloud projects.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Microsoft 365 and cloud engineers, providing technical guidance and career development.
  • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure costs and optimize resource usage.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee cloud migration projects and other cloud-related initiatives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for cloud operations.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Establish and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on cloud infrastructure status and projects.
  • Drive adoption of new Microsoft 365 and Cloud technology and reuse existing technology for enabling business capabilities, value streams and business processes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with business architecture decisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Guide cloud services and application, systems and related IT change management, incident and release management utilizing ITIL Framework.
  • Adhere to Seacoast Bank's code of conduct.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field required. Masters degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud computing required.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure environments required.
  • 5+ years of banking or financial services and products domain experience preferred. Comparable domain experience will also be considered.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, and Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and Azure cloud platform.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud architecture, deployment, and management tools.
  • Direct experience designing and managing scalable, secure, highly available, and fault tolerant technical environments.
  • Familiarity with networking, virtualization, and storage concepts.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).
  • Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align business and technology strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Large enterprise experience in a matrixed environment.
